  1. SM OU First team in 7 years. Bulky Offense

Thanks for the in depth rate. I made the changes you suggest and it feels much more solid now. I'm feeling like Jirachi is not pulling its weight though. Any suggestions there? I feel like scarf Landorus could be a good fit. Lots of the team is weak to Earthquake and Jirachi and Metagross have...
  2. SM OU First team in 7 years. Bulky Offense

I used to play a lot, but life sort of got in the way. I'm now back and able to take this somewhat seriously. I'm still getting used to the meta, but I decided to make my own team from scratch based on what I could remember, and I'm having reasonable success with it (went from 1000-1500 ish in a...
  3. Elemental force - BW2 Rain Hyper Offense

I'll definitely give starmie a try. I was thinking of a scarfmie with trick/icebeam/thunder/rapid spin though. But I'll see.:) thanks a lot. I have a bit of a problem with amoonguss, and it's quite common now which sucks.:/
  4. Elemental force - BW2 Rain Hyper Offense

Thanks a lot for the rate. I was actually already trying out a scarfed Thundurus, and it's doing really well. I'll try that Politoed set too. Sharpedo wasn't pulling its weight so I added a techniloom, but nothing has really impressed me too far. It's nice but compounds my ice weakness, and is...
  5. Elemental force - BW2 Rain Hyper Offense

Can't believe I overlooked Metagross. That set looks absolutely perfect for me, but I'll try Ice Punch > Zen Headbutt - although Jellicent may still pose a problem. And yeah I suppose this is more a heavy offense team than hyper offense. I haven't played in a while so I have kinda forgotten...
  6. Elemental force - BW2 Rain Hyper Offense

EDIT:CHANGES IN RED! I've come back to Pokemon after BW2 was released, and I'm pleased to see a whole host of new and powerful Pokemon to abuse. I love rain and always have, so I decided to make a rain team using some of the powerful new threats that come with bw2. Team Building Process...
  7. Smashing Team Gromit!(weatherless OU)

Thanks for the reply. I might try a conkeldurr, he sounds pretty good, not sure who I would replace. This team isn't really a pure BP team though, it's well able to handle itself without a smash pass, although it does really help. I usually only smash pass once per game, and I don't spend ages...
  8. Smashing Team Gromit!(weatherless OU)

Okay, after some testing, I've switched up my team a bit. Edits in red. :) Any rates still appreciated.
  9. Smashing Team Gromit!(weatherless OU)

Yeah, I had considered it. I'm not sure who I would replace though, possibly skarmory or metagross. If I replace Skarmory I lose my phaser and rocker, and if I replace metagross then I can't deal with blissey once salamence is gone. I was thinking of switching skarmory to heatran( stealth rock...
  10. Smashing Team Gromit!(weatherless OU)

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 248 HP / 8 SDef / 252 Spd Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Lava Plume - Roar - Stealth Rock - Hidden Power [Grass] Nidoking (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Earth Power - Thunderbolt - Ice...
  11. FroggyStyle(Rain Team) Peaked No. 882

Thanks, I will definetely give this one a go! Jirachi has always been one of my favourite pokes and this seems like a very fun set to use, I was thinking of replacing toxicroak with Scizor, but this set does look very good. Terrakion has been somewhat of a weak link anyway, and Jirachi actually...
  12. FroggyStyle(Rain Team) Peaked No. 882

I'm at the stage in my game where I'm not sure whether the reason I'm losing is because I'm being outplayed, or if it's because my team is bad. Warty (Politoed) (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Drizzle EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Hydro Pump - Hidden Power [Grass] - Ice...
  13. BW OU Reflections - A team by Stone_Cold (peaked #1)

Can someone enlighten me as to how to use the dugtrio. I put him on my rain team (simliar)to counter opposing weather leads, but I have no idea how to use him. Even on 1HP he has trouble OHKOing TTar with a reversal, and he seems so damn squishy :(. Any help?
  14. Rate my sunny day team

Don't - I'd replace Synthesis for Growth if anything. You'll outspeed everything under the sun anyway, and you can just sleep powder then set up while they switch or sleep! A +2 boosted SolarBeam with Sunny Day decimates most things.
  15. Raining on your parade(Need some help)

Politoed is my lead because with the new ability "Drizzle" it brings up a permanent rain - like Tyranitar's sandstream with rain. I have never had any problem with swampert due to the fact he cant OHKO any of my team, so I usually set up on him - plus the fact that he is water Neutral, I can...
